Things to Know Before your Trip:

Getting into Paris from CDG Airport:

Option 1: Uber/ Taxi to your Airbnb - Cost around 44-60euros

Option 2: Take Public Transport (RER B Train) from the airport into the city center ( Paris Nord ), then you can switch to the metro ( line 5)  and get off at the Oberkampf stop ( For more detailed instruction to take the train into the city click here

Option 3: Take Public Transport (RER B Train) from the airport into the city  center (Paris Nord ), then take an Uber to your Airbnb

Costs: RER B Train ticket 10,30 euros             Taxi/Uber 45-55 euros to your AIRBNB

Getting around Paris:

Public transport is the easiest/affordable way to get around the city. I would recommend downloading the following apps before you arrive to help you figure out how to get around the city. There are currently ongoing transportation strikes as well as construction that delays or impacts certain lines.
Transportation Applications:
RATP- Paris metro app
Citymapper- Helps you navigate Paris with the best routes and you don’t need data to be able to use it

For your trip duration it is best to buy a pack of 10 metro tickets ( 14,90 euros) and buy more if need be ( 1.90 euros per ticket). And or take a day pass (12 euros) on the day(s) you will be taking the metro a lot.

Budget Accommodation options:

Les Pialues- Boutique hostel (they have private rooms as well)
Generator Hostel- Boutique Hostel
Jules et Jim Hotel
You can also look into Airbnbs near Gare du Nord ( which is near by the train you can take straight to the airport)
