Boneshakers Paris

Boneshakers is the pioneer in bringing doughnuts to  Paris. In July 2016 they opened up their own donut shop after doing pop ups in different cafés in Paris.  Amanda, pastry chef from Virginia and her husband Luis from Ireland are the brains behind Boneshakers. They decided to open up a donut shop after some of their trips back to the states, where they would grab donuts from mom & pop shops. There weren’t any donut places in Paris so they thought it would be fun to bring the concept to Paris.

Boneshaker’s flavors are always changing they try at least 3 different recipes per week, so that keeps things exciting. They also make delicious cinnamon rolls sometimes too! They bake small batches fresh daily, so when they run out that’s it, so get there early!!!

Alex Roberts, is a professional baker, blogger, and photographer from North Carolina who spent several years working and living in NYC before moving to Paris. He launched a Kickstarter earlier this year to bring American styled donuts to Paris on wheels and he has been quite a success ever since. You can find his donut bicycle that does pop-up sales at Papier Tigre, and you can also find them at Paris’ newest coffeeshop, The Hood (first come first serve they sell out fast)!

Les Petits Donuts

Les Petits Donuts is the first French spin on donuts created by a dynamic trio Pierre-Carol Mientong, Alexandra Bocquet et Franck Steve Tchuijang. Their slogan is, ‘an other day, an other donut’. With inspiration of classic American sugary, deep fried doughnuts, the owners wanted to add lighter more gourmet touch. Les Petits Donuts are oven baked, and have a more unique consistency than you are used to for donuts, with a healthy touch. They have different rotating flavors like carrot cake, matcha, sugar cinnamon, or coconut. You can stop by their shop, and even order donuts online to your home, or office.
