2016 is going to be a big year in the realm of sporting events with the European Football Championships, followed by the Olympics. Every four years, the UEFA European Football Championships brings together the best national teams in Europe to see who will take the crown as the Champions of Europe.
Next year France has the pleasure of hosting the EURO CUP 2016 in ten cities throughout France: Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, St-Etienne, and Toulouse. 24 teams will be competing in 51 matches over the course of a month from 10 June to 10 July 2016. Several host stadiums have renovated their stadiums, and cities are prepping for all the spectators that will be coming from near and far. Walking throughout different parts of Paris you can already see banners throughout the city promoting the EURO CUP 2016.
Seeing as how the EURO CUP is the third most popular sporting event in the world. To prepare for this football celebration , UEFA is looking for hard-working and motivated volunteers with work experience in various areas.
For those that are locally based in Paris, matches will take place at Parc de Prince and Stade de France, so we will be right in the heart of the action. For all the football lovers who want to be apart of the EURO 2016 in some capacity, volunteer positions have recently opened. You can volunteer in various sectors from spectator services, broadcasting, photography, media, volunteer management, logistics, and various other sectors. Over the next few months the Volunteer Team will be accepting applications and inviting people to interview between mid June 2015 and end of November 2015.
