Dynamo-Spin Studio

Dynamo

Yesterday I had the chance to test out Dynamo Cycling studio, and was very happy I did.  Inspired by Soul Cycle in the US, Dynamo cycle studio opened about 3 months ago and is offering a new concept to indoor spinning in Paris. There are 40 bikes in the studio, candles, great playlist, and the facilities are fully equipped with everything you will need. All you need to do is sign up for your class online, and when you arrive the lend you a pair of cycling clip shoes, you get a bottle of water, and a towel for your session.  The classes are 45 minutes long, and they have a variety of instructors with different fitness backgrounds. One of the instructors is even a professional ballet dancer for the Paris Opera.

Dynamo studio Lucile-Woodward

The class I took was with the Lucile Woodward fitness trainer, celebrity blogger, and  sports wear model. She is full of energy, there was a great music playlist and lots of motivation from other people in the class. I went after work and it was a great way to unwind, and energize all at the same time. The lighting in the room in dim so it takes you a place where you can just focus on your ride, and try to push yourself to the max. In 45 minutes you get a full body work out of  legs, abs and even arms with a series of dynamic circuits, paired with songs with great tempos to keep a good rhythm.

I would definitely recommend checking out Dynamo if you are into spinning. This Friday (July 3rd) they even have a special class Beyonce vs Jay-Z , you can only imagine that the music and work out will be great. If your interested in trying Dynamo out, sign up for your first class for free here.

Took my first spin class because of you! Thanks for the inspiration. I would say coming early and figuring out the bike is important

Yay! Happy to hear that! Yes indeed, normally if you’re a newbie the instructor should make sure to help.
